How Does Your Garden Grow?

When you plant your garden, you are decorating your soul. Your land is your world. Each plant you handle and place in the ground is so much more than just a plant. It is something that you intend to watch grow. You water, talk, reposition it, cut it back etc. It becomes a part of you. When it grows to the heavens you have accomplished something. Left unattended it dies.

Your garden tells a story about your life and how you deal with it. As you look at your garden you can see a lot more than just plants. Some will be satisfied with their garden therefore satisfied with their life. The flowers grow back year after year with little or no maintenance. The same flowers or plants in the same location, despite if they grow well or not. Others will decorate their soul every season. Out with the old, in with the new. Refreshing one’s soul.

In my garden I have some no thrills, no maintenance plants that are just booming five feet tall. I call them my stationary trees. My stability. Referenced to life would be my career, my family and my friends. Moving down the garden, a plant from my girlfriend Tamie, that flowers when it wants to. It signifies that no matter how long we don’t talk and catch up we are always thinking about each other and that there is never any argument about time lapse. My hibiscuses are temperamental. Cut em back, don’t, pull the dead flowers, let them drop. Water, don’t water. They are always on my mind. Significant to the ongoing troubles in my life. When everything is good.. The flowers open up and welcome the sunshine, when things are rocky the plant is just sleeping. Then we move towards the spreading plants. One plant that after careful placement and good watering fills up an area quickly. I have a few of these, some green and some yellow. The green signifies my success in business. While climbing any ladder of success, helping to secure other peoples goals and dreams is a great success that cannot be measured effectively. The yellow ones are my personality. Sharing myself with the people around me. Touching peoples lives etc… Of course I have some winding out of control plants. I believe this is the spunky side of me. Not worrying so much about where it’s going, where it’s been just enjoying watching it do its thing. So that to me is the wild side of Jennifer.. Doing my thing and not explaining why? This season I planted some other flowers, have no idea what they were or how they would grow. Maybe an expression of my future. They did little to nothing for so long and no they are actually growing upwards and flowering. Maybe I needed to leave them alone so they could dance.

So how does your garden grow? You may not have an actual garden to tend to. But we all have a visual garden or at least we should. You plan in life, your purpose, dreams, accomplishments and personality. Maybe it’s time to weed out your garden, reposition some of your plants so that they may grow better. Some will just die for no reason--out with the dead and in with life. Only you can be in charge of your garden.. Make it grow

I would like to thank the many blessings in my life. My garden is blooming most of the time hope yours is too..

Peace!

Jennifer
